Make & Paint Owl and Pussycat Herb Pots

Service Description

This workshop is to make 2 small pots to keep your herbs fresh on the kitchen windowsill or worktop. But these will not be any old pots, they will be beautiful owl and pussycat pots. I will guide you through the process and demonstrate techniques along the way. You will learn about pinch pots, adding coils and embellishing with textures and sprigs. We will be using a white earthenware clay which I will fire in the kiln ready for you to come back and decorate the following week, using underglaze colours. Your work will then be dipped in a transparent glaze and be fired for a second time, making the colours pop and shine! The dates – Saturday 18th and 25th July 2026 Time 10am - 2.30pm with a break for lunch on 18th 10am to 12.30pm on 25th The cost per person is £70. This includes both sessions, all materials and 2 firings. Tea, coffee and biscuits also included.
