Christmas wreath workshop

Service Description

This is a two part workshop. Part 1 - making. Part 2 - decorating. A 2 part workshop suitable for beginners and people who just like playing with clay! We will make a beautiful ceramic Christmas wreath to hang in your house. I will guide you through the process and demonstrate techniques along the way, rolling a slab and cutting out shapes, adding sprigs and texture. If there's time you can make a few smaller decorations too. We will be using a white earthenware clay which I will fire in the kiln ready for you to come back and decorate in two weeks time, using underglaze colours. Your work will then be dipped in a transparent glaze and be fired for a second time, making the colours pop and shine! The dates – Thursday 12th and Thursday 26th November 2026 Time 10am - 1pm on both days. The cost per person is a special offer at £50. This includes both sessions, all materials and 2 firings. Tea, coffee and biscuits also included.
